  • What are Taylor’s Business hours?

    Monday – Friday, 8A.M. to 5P.M.

  • Do you work with insurance companies?

    Yes, we work with all major insurance companies to help streamline the repair process. 

  • Do I have to go to my Insurance companies, “Preferred” shop?

    No, the consumer always has the freedom and legal right to choose which repair facility one uses for repairs. In Virginia, the law that protects your right to choose your own auto body repair shop is outlined in the Virginia Code § 38.2-517. This law is part of the Insurance Code and includes provisions regarding unfair claim settlement practices. Specifically, it addresses the right of consumers to select their own repair facilities.

  • How long will it take to repair my vehicle?

    The length of time it takes to repair your vehicle depends on the extent of the damage, the specific repairs needed, and parts availability. Rest assured, we will also provide repair updates while your vehicle is at our facility. 

  • How much will it cost to repair my vehicle?

    The cost of repairs depends on a variety of factors, including the extent of the damage, the parts and materials needed, and the labor required to complete the repairs. We always provide our customers with transparent pricing information. 

  • Do you offer a warranty on your repairs?

    Yes, we stand behind our work with a warranty on all workmanship for as long as you own the vehicle. Parts will carry the manufacturer’s warranty.  If you experience any issues or concerns with your repairs, simply bring your vehicle back and we'll make it right.

  • When can I get an estimate on my vehicle?

    We schedule estimate appointments during our normal business hours to ensure prompt service upon arrival.

  • What should I do if my vehicle is not drivable?

    Taylor’s operates a twenty four hour seven day week towing service with two tow trucks and flatbed to handle your towing needs. The Towing service can be contacted at 434.296.4409.

  • Can I drop off my vehicle after hours?

    Taylor’s has a key drop box located outside the fenced area of our facility.  You can leave your vehicle anytime.  

  • How will I know when my vehicle is ready?

    Taylor’s will provide you with a target date.  You will also be assigned a tracking number and Taylor’s will also keep you informed by telephone if there are any delays due to parts availability.

  • What forms of payment are accepted?

    We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover with a sur charge of 3.75% charge. We also accpet Insurance checks, local checks and cash are also accpted.


    Why the sur Charge? Credit card companies charge businesses a fee for processing transactions. These fees, are typically between 3% and 4% of the transaction amount. We also accpet Insurance checks, local checks and cash are also accpted.

  • When do I pay my deductible?

    You will pay your deductible to Taylor’s when repairs are completed. 

  • What does the term, “Gone Green” mean?

    Taylor’s uses PPG’s water base sprayable products.  We also recycle oil, antifreeze, steel, aluminum, cardboard and light bulbs. 

  • When can I wash and wax my vehicle?

    Your vehicle will be hand washed when repairs are completed.  You may hand wash it anytime but avoid commercial car washes for thirty days.  No waxing for ninety days after completed repairs.
